Day 02: Ahmedabad: Morning proceed for a heritage walk which offers an opportunity to see the old quarters of Ahmedabad. Visit the Sayad Masjid and Swaminarayan Temple. Afternoon visit Akshardam Temples, on the way back visit the beautifully carved 15th century Adalaj Step well. 

 

 
   

Day 03: Ahmedabad – Bhavnagar: Morning drive towards Bhavnagar, en-route visiting Lothal- a great archaeological site where you will get an idea about the town planning of the Indus Valley Civilization. Later you will be transferred straight to Bhavnagar. On arrival, check in at your hotel. After brief leisure, visit Bhavnagar and the colourful market. Stay overnight at your Hotel.  

 

       
 

Day 04: Bhavnagar – Diu: Morning drive to Diu, en-route visiting Shatrunjaya Temple at Palitana [doli (lift chairs) are available at an extra cost]. Later drive to reach Diu. On arrival, check in at your beach resort. Remaining day is at your own discretion.

 

 
       
 

Day 05: Diu: Day at your own discretion at the beautiful beach of Diu. Stay overnight at your beach resort.

 

 

 

 
     
 

Day 06: Diu – Gir: Early morning drive to Sasan Gir. Take morning and afternoon guided jeep safaris through jungles of Gir. Sasan Gir National Park is last remaining home to Asiatic Lion species.

 

 

 
   

Day 07: Diu – Rajkot: Morning after breakfast drive towards Rajkot, en-route visit Junagadh whichhas many archaeological sites and historical monuments. Visit the tourist attractions of the city like Uperkot Fort, Mahabat Maqbara & Durbar Hall Museum.Later drive further to Rajkot and on arrival, check in at your hotel. Remaining time is at your own discretion.

 

 
   

Day 08: Bhuj: Morning drive to Bhuj, a unique landscape known as Katchh peninsula. Day the day visit the Bhuj Palace and Swami Narayan temple. Later proceed to visit the very interesting lanes & bazaars of the city. The embroidered shawls and durries (coarse rugs) of Bhuj are very popular. You may also find an amazing variety of earthen pottery being sold on the streets.

 

   

Day 09: Excursion to Hodka: During the day visit Hodka and other Banni villages where you will see various kind of textile & embroidery art. The Banni villages are treasure islands to all those having interest in textiles, mirror work and embroidery work. In this tour, you will also observe the lifestyle of the tribes. If interested, you may also enjoy an excursion to an ancient Hindu temple located on a small hillock where several jackals appear in the evening.

 

     
 

Day 10: Bhuj – Jamnagar: Today after breakfast, drive to one of Gujarat’s highlights, Jamnagar. It’s a beautiful city full of heritage buildings and interesting colorful bazaars. The place is known for the making of bandhani cloth – centuries old process is followed in its production involving thousands of tiny knots in a piece of folded fabric. Jamnagar has India’s only Ayurvedic University and a temple (Bala Hanuman temple) that’s hosted non-stop chanting since 1964. Day would be kept free to take a walking tour of the temples and the bazaars.

 

     
 

Day 11: Excursion to Dwarka: During the day enjoy the excursion to Dwarka- one of the seven most holy Hindu pilgrimage cities in India, famous for Dwarkadheesh Temple. Return back to Jamnagar by evening and stay overnight at your hotel.

 

 

     
 

Day 12: Departure flight to Mumbai: Morning you will be transferred to Bhavnagar airport to board a flight back to Mumbai. The tour ends here.
