Corbett Long Elephant Safari Tour         
 06 Nights/ 06 Days
 

Day 00: Delhi – Overnight train to Ramnagar: At appropriate time you will be picked up from your place of stay in Delhi or from Delhi airport and transferred to Delhi railway station to board an overnight train to Ramnagar.

 

 

     
           
 

Day 01: Corbett National Park (jeep safari into Bijrani range): You will be assisted at Ramnagar railway station and transferred straightway to your luxury wildlife resort to check in. After lunch and brief leisure, proceed for the afternoon jeep safari into Bijrani range to track the king of the jungle in his natural habitat. After jungle safari,return back to your resort and enjoy a detailed slide show on Corbett which will give you enough insight on the biological diversity of Corbett. Later enjoy campfire followed by dinner.Stay overnight at your wildlife resort.

 
           
 

Day 02: Lohachaur (Full day long elephant safari): Early morning depart for the Durgadevi gate by jeeps. Meet the elephant with their mahouts and enter the Tiger Reserve through the Durgadevi Gate on elephant back. Enjoy a stretch of about 16 kms through the Ramganga valley to Lohachaur – an old forest rest house. Lunch will be served at scenic Domunda- the confluence of the Ramganga and Mandal rivers. Time permitting we could bathe the elephant/s in the Ramganga river and then head onto the bungalow at Lohachuar. On arrival at Lohachaur, check in at your forest bungalow and stay overnight.

 
   
 

Day 03: Lohachaur – Kanda (Full day long elephant safari): After an early breakfast, depart on elephant back for a safari along the Mandal River and then towards Maidavan Chowki– the confluence of the Ramganga and Mandal rivers. The Mandal River forms a part of the northern boundary of the Tiger Reserve. Post lunch proceed towards Kanda. Kanda is located atop a ridge on the Shivalik ranges and is at an altitude of about 1100m. On arrival at Kanda, the jeep will pick you up to ascent upto to Kanda Nalla. Stay overnight in the forest rest house.

 
   

Day 04: Kanda – Dhikala (Jeep safaris):Post breakfast, drive straightway to Dhikala. On arrival, check in at Forest Rest House at Dhikala. After brief leisure and have lunch, proceed for an afternoon jeep safari to the Dhikala “chaur” – grasslands to witness the diverse wildlife of Dhikala. After safari return back to FRH and enjoy an evening wildlife movie followed by dinner. Stay overnight at Dhikala FRH.

 

     
   

Day 05: Corbett National Park (Elephant & Jeep safari at Dhikala): Early morning enjoy an elephant ride into the dense forest of Dhikala range. After elephant ride back to your rest house and have breakfast. After brief leisure checkout and enjoy your lunch in dinning hall. Later proceed for another jungle safari in an open jeep for tiger tracking and bird watching. After safari evening drive towards Dhangiri Gate & get out from Dhikala. Later you will be transferred to your wildlife resort to check in. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in your luxury resort.

Day 06: Departure: Morning after breakfast at appropriate time you will be transferred to Ramnagar railway station to board a day train to Delhi as per the below given schedule. Tour ends.
