Day Excursion to Samode
Duration of visit (including Travel time): 4-5 Hours

Tour starting time: 8 a.m.

Departure point: Jaipur (pick-up available from Hotel)

Enjoy an excursion to Samode which is 40 km ahead from the city center of Jaipur. It is a 475 year old palace and has been awarded the best heritage hotel in the country consecutively for the past 5 years. Its arches, gardens and dinning hall are at its best. All the original wall and ceiling paintings and mirror work are intact and restored.
The Durbar hall of Samode Palace is one of the most attractive and beautifully painted chambers with glass and minakari work. The same goes for the private restricted spaces, meant for the women of the family. The Durbar Hall is literally painted all the way to its lofty ceilings. High fanlights let in natural light giving the room a glow that is unparalleled. Visitors may also take a jeep safari around the villages and fields, visiting local shrines, bazaars – drive through for a coffee or a meal to the royal gardens of Samode Bagh. For the more adventurous visitor, horse and camel safaris are available.
