Day 01:  Delhi - Srinagar: Fly from Delhi to reach Srinagar. You will be received at Srinagar airport, assisted and transferred straight to your luxury houseboat. Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley and is spread on both sides of the river Jhelum. Evening enjoy a Shikara ride at Dal Lake. Stay overnight in your houseboat.

 

 
   
 

Day 02: Srinagar: Morning proceed for the sightseeing trip of all the main attractions of Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens i.e. Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Later visit Srinagar Museum and Wooden Masjid. Stay overnight at your luxury houseboat

 
Day 03:  Excursion to Gulmarg: After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful summer resorts in Kashmir. It is often called Switzerland of India. Gulmarg has the highest golf course (open in summer) in the world and skiing is possible during the winter. Enjoy the day in the green meadows and Snow-covered Mountains. You may enjoy a fun-filled pony ride and gondola rides during the day. In the evening return back to Srinagar and stay overnight in your luxury houseboat.
 

Day 04: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Kargil: In the morning, we will proceed to Kargil. Along the way, you will visit Sonmarg and Baltal well-known for their scenic beauty. Also visit Thajiwas glacier where snows remains throughout the year.
Later proceed and after passing Zoji-La pass, you will enter in Drass valley which is surrounded by gigantic rugged mountains. After security check, you will move on to Kargil. On arrival, check in at your hotel and stay overnight.

 
   
 

Day 05: Kargil - Leh: Morning proceed towards Leh. You would see various structures from the Silk Route days during the journey as it was one of the major stop for the Central Asian trade route. En-route stop at Mulbekh Monastery situated atop a hill over a village. It is famous for the huge image of Buddha carved out from the gigantic rock. Later, you would visit Alchi and Likir monasteries. These monasteries have very old paintings well-known for depicting Buddhist motifs. Arrive in Leh and check in at your hotel.

 
 
 

.Day 06:  Leh sightseeing: After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of Leh visiting Leh Bazaar, Leh Palace and Shankar Gompa. Later visit Shankar monastery which has got fantastic collection of miniatures made of pure gold and numerous beautiful paintings. Stay overnight at your hotel.

 
Day 07: Leh: Enjoy the sight seeing tour of famous Shey, Thiksey, Hemis monasteries and Stok Palace museum during the day. Stay overnight in your hotel. Shey Gompa is around 15 kms ahead of Leh. It was the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh built in the beginning of 17th century AD. The main attraction of Shey is the 12 m Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the Dresthang Gompa. The Stupas and Gompas around the palace are also worthwhile to visit. Thiksey Gompa is around 17 kms ahead of Leh. The Thiksey monastery is one of the most beautiful Monasteries in Ladakh. Hemis is about 45 kms south of Leh. Hemis Monastery is undoubtedly the most famous and largest monastery in Ladakh.  
Day 08: Departure: Morning at appropriate time you will be transferred to Leh airport to board a flight back home. The tour ends here.
