Day 01: Delhi: Welcome to Incredible India! Arrive at Delhi international airport. Transfer to hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.

 

 

 

   
     
 

Day 02: Delhi: After breakfast proceed for the sight seeing tour of Delhi. At first, you will visit Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) covering Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid (2nd largest mosque of India) and Humayun’s Tomb (all 3 monuments are UNESCO world heritage sites). Later in the 2nd half, visit Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi) and see India Gate, Parliament house, Bahai temple and drive by President’s house

   
 

Day 03: Gwalior: Board a morning train to Gwalior. You will be assisted at Gwalior railway station by our representative and will be transferred to your selected hotel. Later in the afternoon proceed for some local sightseeing in this historic town. Visit the Kala Vithika, Gujari Mahal Archaeological Museum and tomb of Tansen, the legendary singer of Akbar's Court. The Gwalior Fort is one of the most famous examples of medieval architecture in India. Steeped in history, it reflects the glorious past of Gwalior. 

 
 
 

Day 04: Gwalior - Orchha (via Datia): Morning after breakfast proceed for an extended visit of the Gwalior Fort. One of the splendid examples of medieval Indian architecture, it has the Saas- Bahu Temple, Teli Ka Mandir, and Jai Vilas Palace, the residence of the Scindia family. Later checkout and drive to Orchha, en-route visiting Datia. This is a rare seven-storey hilltop palace, a unique example of 17th century Hindu architecture. Later continue your drive and on arrival at Orchha, check in at your hotel.

   
     
 

Day 05: Orchha: After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing. Orchha is a quaint medieval city where time stands still. The palaces and temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th- 17th centuries still retain their pristine perfection. Enjoy an extended visit of the Orchha Fort that has attractions like Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple and Raja Ram Mandir and other sites. In the evening walk about the town that retains a unique old world charm.

   
   
 

Day 06: Orchha – Khajuraho: Morning drive straight to Khajuraho. On arrival, check in at your hotel. After brief leisure, proceed to visit the famous temples of Khajuraho. It is famous for the erotic and breathtakingly beautiful sculptures that capture life in every form and mood. A paean to life and love, the temples, built between AD 950 and 1050, represent one of the world’s greatest artistic wonders. Visit the Western Group of Temples designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kandariya Mahadev, Jagdambi, Chitragupta, Lakshmana and Vishvanath temples showcase the best of Khajuraho”s art.

   
 

Day 07: Khajuraho: After breakfast, enjoy an extended visit to Khajuraho. Explore the temples of the South Eastern and Northern Group. The SE group has many Jain temples that are similar to one other. The Parshavnath temple is the biggest amongst these. There are also temples to Ghantai and Adinatha. The Northern side has temples like Devi Jagadambi, Sun Temple, Vishwanath, Marakateswara and Parvati.

   
 

Day 08: Departure to Delhi: Morning at appropriate time you will be transferred to Khajuraho Airport/Railway Station to board a train/flight to Delhi for onward journey. Tour ends.
