A trekker can get a 180-degree view of the Indian Himalayas from the top of Chandershila. This peak can be reached through a fun and easy trek that begins in the small village of Sari. This trek will proceed to Devria Tal, a beautiful lake with a stunning mountain view, including Chopta, Choukhmba, Tungnath, Kedarnath, and Chandrashila Peak.
At 2600 meters above sea level, Chopta is recognized as India's Switzerland. Chopta provides a breathtaking view of the Himalayas' majestic peaks against a backdrop of clear blue sky. The Tungnath Temple (03,680 meters) is the highest situated shrine of Lord Shiva among the Panch Kedar and can be seen on the way to Chandershila.
From here, one can see the Kedar, Bandar Poonch, Dunagiri, and Chaukhamba peaks in all their glory. Arrive at Delhi international airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the time is kept free to recover from jetlag. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Morning transfer to Delhi railway station to board the Shatabadi Express train to Haridwar. Arrive in Haridwar and be moved to Rishikesh, the world's Yoga capital and gateway to the Himalayas. Various adventurous activities such as white water river rafting, trekking, and camping can be found here. Later, go to Lakshman Jhula (a 450-foot suspension bridge), Ram Jhula, Bharat temple, Swargashram temple, Geeta Bhawan temple, and other temples and Ashrams. Take a trip to Nilkantha Mahadev temple (12 kilometres from town) – it is located at a height of approximately 5000 feet). A beautiful view of the city can be had from here. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Post breakfast checkout and drive to Sari. This journey would be scenic because it would take you through rivers like the Ganges, Alaknanda, and Mandakini. Rest along the way to see Deoprayag, a historical site at the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers, which forms the auspicious Ganga. Arrive in Sari and begin your trek towards Deoriatal, a beautiful Himalayan lake. The walk is surrounded by jungle and provides a spectacular view of the surrounding villages. Check into the camp when you arrive at Deoriatal Lake. Remaining time is kept free for exploring the nearby area along the pretty lake. Stay overnight at the hotel.
On a clear day, the Himalayan snow-capped peaks can be seen in all their glory. Breakfast is served before beginning the trek to Chopta. This will be a steady hike through dense forest and gorgeous alpine meadows strewn with beautiful flowers. Check into the camp when you arrive in Chopta.
Today, proceed for the trek to Chandrashilla. The rhododendron bushes will provide a steady climb for this walk. The important Garhwal Himalayan peaks can be seen from the top of Chandrashilla, including Nanda Devi (7817 metres), India's second highest mountain, Bandar Poonch, Kedarnath, Trishul, and many others. Explore the area around Chandrashila before returning to Chopta for the overnight stay.
Morning drive back to Rishikesh. On arrival at Rishikesh, check in to the hotel.
Morning at appropriate time transfer to Haridwar railway station to board the morning train to Delhi. Arrive at Delhi, and later transfer to the international airport to connect the flight back to the onward destination. The tour ends.
