Tour Summary

What makes Kanha the most prominent national park of India is the opportunity it offers to an ordinary visitor of seeing the elusive tiger in the wild. The tourists staying at Kanha for two or three days have almost always had at least one tiger sighting in one of the jungle safaris. Rudyard Kipling's unforgettable classic Jungle Book was inspired by the beautiful Kanha National Park. The Kanha National Park's allure hasn't faded with time; it's still breathtaking. If you point to the center of India, you're likely to see the forests of the Banjar and Halon valleys, which make up the western and eastern halves of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, which have long been known for their diverse wildlife. It offers a reasonably good chance of viewing Tigers, Gaur (the great Indian bison-the largest of the world’s cattle), Sambar- the largest of the Indian Deer, Chausingha- the only four-horned antelope in the world. Sloth bears are frequent visitors. You may see here a wide range of fauna, including the royal Indian tiger, chital, leopard, Chinkara, sambar, wild boar, hyena, jackal, sloth bear, and many other wild animals.
