With our Kashmir and Vaishno Devi Itinerary of 08 Nights 09 Days, seek the divine blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi at Katra in Jammu and enjoy sightseeing in Kashmir. Your tour begins in Katra with a 14-kilometer trek or a ponies/palki/helicopter ride to Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan to seek blessings. Afterward, you will visit Pahalgam, Srinagar, and Gulmarg which are the major tourist destinations in Kashmir Valley. Visit Betaab Valley in Pahalgam, houseboat stays and sightseeing in Srinagar, horseback riding to Thajiwas Glacier in Sonmarg, and an 8-minute ropeway ride in Gulmarg are among the major highlights of the tour.
You will be received at Jammu airport/railway station, assisted and transferred to your hotel in Katra to check in. After brief leisure, start your trekking journey for Darshan of Divine Shrine Vaishno Devi.
After returning back from the Vaishno Devi Temple, remaining day is at leisure till next morning.
Morning proceed to Patnitop- a hill top tourist destination. On arrival at Patnitop, check in at your hotel. After brief leisure, proceed for a local sightseeing tour which includes visit to Nag Temple, Nathatop and Sanasar. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Morning drive to reach Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) situated at an altitude of 2130 m. Visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantang Sulphur spring on the way. Pahalgam is surrounded by high mountains, dense forests and high mountain lakes. It offers range of activities to enjoy viz. 9 hole golf course, skiing, pony trails, angling, horse ridding, trekking (both hard & soft) & scenic places of interest in & around like Aru Valley, Kolhai Glacier, Shesh Nag, Lidderwat Valley, Chandanwari (route to holy cave), Baisam & Mamil famous for the 9th century old Shiva Temple.
Morning after breakfast proceed for an excursion to the beautiful Chandanwari. Enjoy the magnificent views of Lidder valley. You may enjoy a short trekking tour around the Lidder River. Stay overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast you will proceed to Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful summer resorts in Kashmir. It is often called Switzerland of India. Gulmarg has the highest golf course (open in summer) in the world and skiing is possible during the winter. Enjoy the day in the green meadows and Snow-covered Mountains. You may enjoy a fun-filled pony ride and gondola rides during the day. Stay overnight in your hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and you will be driven to Srinagar. Arrive at Srinagar & check into your hotel/houseboat. After brief leisure, enjoy Shikara ride which covers Charchinar, Floating Gardens, canals etc.
Morning proceed for the sightseeing trip of all the main attractions of Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens i.e. Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Later visit Srinagar Museum and Wooden Masjid. You may enjoy shopping at Kashmiri Craft & Art stores during the evening. Stay overnight at your luxury houseboat.
Morning at appropriate time you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport to catch a flight back home. The tour ends here.
