Detailed ltinerary

DAY 1

Delhi: Welcome to Incredible India!

Arrive at Delhi international airport. Transfer to hotel. Rest of the time is kept free to recover from jetlag. Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2

Delhi - Haridwar

Morning you will be transferred to Delhi railway station to board the Shatabdi Express train to Haridwar. You will be assisted at Haridwar railway station and will be transferred to your hotel to check-in. Haridwar, which means "Gateway to God," is the first place where the Holy River Ganges meets the plains after descending the Himalayas, making it an important Hindu pilgrimage site. Hyuen-Tsang, a Chinese pilgrim, also described Haridwar in his travelogue. It is also the location of one of the world's largest festivals, the Kumbha Mela, which occurs every twelve years. After a short break, visit Har-Ki-Pauri, Daksha temple, Bharat Mata temple, Chandi Devi temple, and various Ashrams and temples on a sightseeing tour. After that, go on a tour of the holy Ghats to see the evening Aarti, which is a deeply spiritual experience. Stay at the hotel for the night.

DAY 3

Haridwar - Rishikesh

After breakfast, drive to another auspicious place, Rishikesh, the world's Yoga capital and Himalayan gateway. Various adventurous activities such as white water river rafting, trekking, and camping can be done here. Later, go to Lakshman Jhula (a 450-foot suspension bridge), Ram Jhula, Swargashram temple, Geeta Bhawan temple, Bharat temple, and other temples and Ashrams. Take a trip to the Nilkantha Mahadev temple (12 km from town), which is located at a height of approximately 5000 feet. A beautiful view of the city can be had from here. Stay at the hotel for the night.

DAY 4

Rishikesh

Take the Yoga & Meditation classes in one of the renowned Ashrams located in the Himalayan foothills. One may also stay inside the Ashrams.

DAY 5

Rishikesh

Participate to the Yoga & Meditation classes. You can also visit Ananda Spa, which is widely considered to be one of the best Ayurvedic spas in the world.

DAY 6

Rishikesh

Take Yoga & Meditation classes in the Ashram. Stay overnight at Rishikesh.

DAY 7

Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi departure

Morning at appropriate time you will be transferred to the Haridwar railway station to board the train to Delhi. Arrive at Delhi, have dinner at one of the many famous restaurants, later transfer to the international airport to connect the flight back to the onward destination. The tour ends.
