One will get amazed by the stunning art and sculptures in Khajuraho, the spectacle of the holy Ganges in Varanasi, and a lot more. Varanasi is a perfect place for a peep into Hindu religious living, its bathing ghats on the river Ganges are forever busy with worship, rituals, funeral pyres, saints, colors, joys, and celebrations. Arrive at the capital city of India and check in at your hotel. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.
After breakfast proceed for the sight seeing tour of Delhi. At first, you will visit Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) covering Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid (2nd largest mosque of India) and Humayun’s Tomb (all 3 monuments are UNESCO world heritage sites). Later in the 2nd half, visit Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi) and see India Gate, Parliament house, Bahai temple and drive by President’s house.
At appropriate time you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board a flight to Varanasi. You will be met on arrival at Varanasi and will be transferred to your hotel to check in. After brief leisure, you may explore the interesting lanes & bylanes of this oldest living city of the World. In the evening you may witness the Ganga Worship ceremony, which is highly rewarding. A very spiritual experience! Stay overnight at your hotel.
Morning take a boat ride at river Ganges to witness holy rituals on Ghats. A very spiritual experience! You would see various cremation Ghats during the span of this boat ride, which offers a peep into the living traditions of one of the world's oldest religion, Hinduism. Watch the sun rising on the river front which is spiritually quite uplifting. Later in the day visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Benaras Hindu University, Sarnath, Gyanvapi Mosque and other important monuments of the city. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Varanasi airport to board a flight to Khajuraho. A world heritage site, Khajuraho is a famous temple city of Madhya Pradesh. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Later visit the magnificent world famous Kama-Sutra Temples and other various temples. These Temples were built by the Chandelas between 950 AD & 1050 AD. Evening enjoy Sound & Light show at Western group of Temples. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Morning after breakfast drive to Orchha- a virgin historical site, picturesquely located by the banks of Betwa River. The place with its beautiful palaces, temples and thematic chambers is still almost untouristic. On arrival, visit the Raj Mahal palace, Raj Praveen Mahal Palace, Jehangir palace and the Royal Chhattries (cenotaphs). Later visit Raja Ram temple - only place where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king. Evening board a Shatbdi train to reach Agra. You will be assisted at Agra railway station and transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.
Morning visit the master piece i.e. Taj Mahal, to witness the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colours of the rising Sun on this brilliant white marble building. It looks more beautiful at sunrise. Later visit Agra Fort and Idmat-du-llah.
Morning after breakfast drive towards “the pink city of India- Jaipur” en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri - the abandoned citadel of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Finally reach Jaipur and check in. Evening you may visit to the popular market places of Jaipur.
Morning excursion to Amber Fort set in a picturesque location. You will be provided an elephant ride to ascend the Fort. Later enjoy the half day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. If interested; you may have a visit to the ‘Mahout’s (elephant owners) Colony’ to see the baby elephants and domestic pachyderms.
Morning after breakfast, proceed straightway to Delhi and at appropriate time you will be transferred to Delhi international airport for your onward journey back to your home destination. Tour ends.
