Morning depart for Tirupati. During the day, visit the temple and attend the Darshan of Lord Balaji.
Morning drive to reach Mahabalipuram which is famous for its rock carvings and the beautiful Shore Temple. En-route visit Kanchipuram which is home to the famous silk and cotton weaving industry. Later you will be transferred to your beach resort. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.
During the day enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram covering all the major attractions. Overnight in your beach resort.
Morning drive to reach the former French colony Pondicherry (recently renamed as Puducherry). Palm-fringed beaches, backwaters, fishing villages, luxury beach resorts, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, a coastline of 32 kms, great sea-food, quality wine and colonial feel are just few reasons to visit Pondicherry. Stay overnight in your hotel.
Morning visit the famous Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Later visit the Pondicherry Museum and Auroville- a unique township dedicated to human unity.
Morning drive to Swamimalai, visiting the beautiful Natraja Temple on the way. Later you will be transferred to your heritage hotel in Swamimalai. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.
Morning visit the impressive temple of Gangaikondacholapuram, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Afterwards proceed to visit the famous temples of Kumbakonam, Thingaloor and Swamimalai. Stay overnight in Swamimalai.
Morning drive to Tanjore which has a magnificent history dating back more than 1500 years. Visit the Brihadeeswara Temple (a World Heritage site) before continuing to Trichy. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Remaining time is at leisure.
During the day visit the Rock Fort & its impressive temples.
Morning drive to reach Madurai. Evening visit Meenakshi Temple to witness the special night ceremony. The ceremony takes place every evening at 9 p.m., when the temple bronze of Lord Shiva is carried to the bedchamber of Parvati. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Morning proceed for a daylong excursion to Rameshwaram - one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Evening return back to Madurai and stay overnight.
Morning visit the Master piece Meenakshi temple - a great example of Dravidian architecture and sculpture. Later proceed to visit Tirumalai Nayaka Temple and Temple Art Museum. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Morning drive to reach Kanyakumari. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.
Day will be spent in covering the attractions of Kanyakumari viz. Vivekananda Memorial Rock Temple, Gandhi Memorial and Kannyakumari Devi Temple. Stay overnight at your hotel.
At appropriate time transfer to Trivandrum airport for the onward journey. Tour ends.
