This tour itinerary will cover the most impressive cities of Rajasthan and then takes you on the journey of the beautiful Taj Mahal and Khajuraho at the end. Rajasthan is a state of wonders, and you will visit the Rajasthani marvels in Jaipur, Udaipur, Deogarh, and Jodhpur.
The Taj Mahal is considered to be one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture and the temples of Khajuraho are famous for their Nagara-style architecture and erotic sculptures. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Rajasthan, Agra, and Khajuraho attract thousands of tourists round the year and offer them a memorable experience.
On arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be welcomed and assisted by our representative and transferred straightway to your hotel to check in. Remaining time is at leisure till next morning.
Start the morning with a drive past through impressive boulevards and buildings such as President’s Residence and others in Lutyen’s Delhi (New Delhi). Also, drive past through Satish Gujral’s designed Belgian Embassy building. Later you will be to taken for the sightseeing tour of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) which would include your visit to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar among other attractions. We plan to make you visit this part of Delhi in a very special manner. We would take you first to one of the most modern areas of Delhi i.e. ‘Connaught Place’ and from here we will make you board the ultra-modern ‘Metro train’. Just a 10 minutes long train journey will make you travel back to 300 years old period where everything still seems to be working in the same old fashion i.e. at ‘Chandni Chowk’ bazaar.
At Chandni Chowk, we would further take you to ‘Khari Baoli Spice Market’ which is a true delight for eyes. It’s truly unbelievable to see that the spices which we normally see in small sachets & packets are here seen in big sacks & carts. A wholesale market with carts full of different spices and people busy negotiating the prices, it’s really a scene.
