DAY 1

Kochi: Welcome to God’s own Country!

You will be received at Kochi airport, assisted and transferred straight to your hotel. After brief leisure, proceed for a guided sightseeing tour of Kochi/Cochin. Explore St. Francis Cathedral, India's oldest church, the imposing Santa Cruz basilica designed by the Portuguese, Fort Kochi's heritage sites, and antique and spice market. Other highlights of the tour include Chinese fishing nets, the Dutch Palace, and the Jewish Synagogue. Evening you may enjoy the traditional Kathakali dance performance at one of the cultural centers of Fort Kochi.

DAY 2

Cochin - Munnar

After breakfast, travel to Munnar, arguably one of South India's most beautiful hill stations. Enjoy the scenic drive from Kochi to Munnar passing through the lofty mountains and the rolling hills & lush valleys of Western Ghats. While travelling to Munnar, stop at the breathtaking Valara Waterfall. The rest of the evening is free until the next morning. Spend the night in your beautiful resort in Munnar.

DAY 3

Munnar

Post breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit the Tata Tea Museum to learn about the production of India's favourite beverages. Visit Eravikulam National Park in the afternoon, a high-altitude sanctuary popular for the Nilgiri Tahr and the Neelakurinji flowers, which bloom only once in every 12 years. Later, travel to Mattupetty Dam to photograph the breathtaking views. Adventure activities such as Horseback riding and speed boating are available at Mattupetty Lake. Thrill seekers and birdwatchers will be enthralled by the Shola Forests' trekking and birdwatching opportunities. Other tour stops include Viewpoint and Echo point. Spend the night in your resort.

DAY 4

Munnar - Madurai

Morning after breakfast drive towards Madurai. On arrival check-in at your hotel. In the evening, you can visit Shree Meenakshi Temple, which is one of the most popular temples of India. During the ritual, the bronze idol of Lord Shiva is brought to the Hindu goddess Parvati's bedchamber in a procession. Stay overnight at your hotel in Madurai.

DAY 5

Madurai sightseeing

Post breakfast, proceed to visit Meenakshi Temple to appreciate the classic Dravidian architecture. One must go to Madurai if anyone wants to see a place with a glorious history and a bustling present, as well as great temples that showcase the artisans' architectural brilliance. Madurai, is famous as "the city that never sleeps. Afternoon proceed for the city tour to cover the top-rated attractions including Tirumal Nayak Palace and the Mariamman Teppakula. DAY 6

Madurai – Thekkady (Periyar)

On the six day, take a scenic drive to Periyar National Park, one of India's most lush jungles. After checking into the hotel, take a wildlife boat ride on the beautiful Periyar Lake in Periyar National Park, one of India's most important elephant and tiger reserves. Admire the beautiful natural surroundings. You will observe a variety of animal and bird species, including wild elephants, tigers, wild boars, and bison. Stay the night in your hotel at Thekkady.

DAY 7

Thekkady - Alleppey

Morning you will be driven to Alleppey. Alleppey, rightly stakes claim to its nickname 'Venice of the East', with its meandering lagoons, coconut trees, endless rows of paddy fields. On arrival, you will be transferred straightway to your backwaters resort. Alleppey is an ideal base to experience the beaches and backwaters. During the day you have an option to enjoy different water sports and Ayurvedic massages at your resort.

DAY 8

Alleppey - Kovalam

Morning after breakfast checkout from your backwaters resort and you will be driven to Kovalam. On arrival at Kovalam, check in at your beach resort.

After brief leisure, proceed to visit the popular Kovalam beach, lighthouse beach, and other attractions in the evening. During the hippy era, Kovalam Beach was one of India's most popular tourist destinations. At Kovalam, there are three beaches separated by rocky outcroppings that jut out into the sea. Because of its 30 metre high lighthouse, the larger one is called Light House Beach. Hawah Beach is the second biggest. Stay overnight at your beach resort.

DAY 9

Kovalam

Morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum city. The temple of Sri Padmanabhaswamy is the most religious icon of the city (non-hindu’s are not allowed inside the main temple complex). Other important attractions of Trivandrum are Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, Veli Tourist Village (which has an excellent waterfront park) and Shangumugham Beach. Stay overnight at your beach resort.

DAY 10

Departure

Morning after breakfast at appropriate time you will be transferred to Trivandrum airport for your onward journey back to your home destination. The tour ends.
