Munnar is a famous hill station in India's southern state of Kerala, known for its scenic beauty and adventure sports. Trekking is one of the most popular activities in Munnar. Munnar attracts trekkers from all over the world because it is home to some of India's most epic trekking trails. Anamudi Hill, the highest peak in the Western Ghats, is located in Munnar. At 2,695 meters above sea level, it is one of the most difficult and exciting treks in the area.

The Meesapulimala Hill, Kerala's second-highest peak, is another equally fascinating Munnar Trekking destination. The mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is said to be older than the Himalayas! Munnar is a must-see destination in India, with endless trekking routes and other exciting activities.

DAY 1

Cochin - Munnar

You will be picked up from the Cochin airport or the place of your stay in Cochin and dropped off at your Munnar hotel. The remaining time is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2

Munnar – West Ridge Trekking

Our representative will pick you up in the morning from your hotel and you will be transferred to Great Escape Gap, where you will begin your trek towards the West Ridge mountain's Climax stage. The path ascends and descends to 1400 MSL on its west side to Tahr Mountain Camp from the top at 2185 MSL.

You can carry your large bags to the base camp in your Jeep. You can carry your personal belongings and valuables in a small backpack. The trek will take you across grassland, cloud forest fringes, rocky hills, and cliff edges and will take you about 6-7 hours. A packed mini lunch will be provided for you. Upon arrival at Tahr Mountain Camp check-in. Tahr Mountain Camp is on the west side of West Ridge, with a view of the Sun-Moon Valley. It's a great place to see the celestial sunrise and sunset. Plan for a wonderful evening with a campfire and a freshly cooked dinner. Stay overnight at Tahr Mountain Camp.

DAY 3

Trek to Meesapulimala

You will proceed to Silent Valley (15 km) for Meesapulimala trekking and camping after breakfast (1600MSL to 2600MSL ). After lunch, check into the Rhodo Valley camp. Hiking around Rhodo Valley in the afternoon. Stay overnight in the camp.

DAY 4

Trek from Meesapulimalai to Kolukkumalai

Have breakfast in the morning and start your trek to Meesapulimala peak (2635MSL) with a packed lunch. You'll be trekking through beautiful terrain and scenery. Trek down to Kolukkumalai (2300 meters above sea level). Overnight stay inside the camp at Kolukkumalai.

DAY 5

Kolukkumalai – Yellappetti- Pampadumchola Trek

Have your breakfast and begin hiking to Yellappetti village through tea gardens, woods, and grasslands. You will reach Pampadumchola Jungle Camp by the late afternoon and stay overnight in your camp.

DAY 6

Pampadumchola - Topstation Trek

Prepare for an ascent trail to the Top Station at the Eastern Sprout of the Munnar Hills after breakfast. A tribal hamlet, waterfalls, and Central Station are all part of the journey (Middle Station). It's an ancient mountain trail built by a mountain tribe. This trail was later used by the Duke of Willington in the 18th century to pursue an exiled Indian King. British planters used the trail in the late 1800s to move tea factory machinery with the aid of mountain tribes. They later constructed a ropeway to transport tea from Munnar to the plateau. At Top Station, spend the night in a tent.

DAY 7

Topstation- Vattavada Trek

After breakfast, continue the trek to Vattavada Mountain Village through the tea plantation route, bringing a packed lunch. You will be moved to your Munnar hotel for an overnight stay once you arrive in Vattavada. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 8

Munnar - Cochin

Our car will pick you up after breakfast and you will be transferred to Cochin airport or at the place of your stay. Tour ends here.
