Tour Summary

Singalila trek provides breathtaking views of the Himalayan range from Cho Oyo to Kanchenjunga, stretching from Darjeeling hills where tea plantations reach as far as the eye can see to Sikkim, an ancient Himalayan kingdom of Tibetan culture. The Singalila range is one of the few places on the planet where you can see five 8000m peaks, like Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu.

You will trek on simple narrow paths along the Indo-Nepali frontier, often at the edge of the jungle, often through rhododendron woods, on these 19th century English Lords tracks. The key Sikkim monasteries (Pemayangtse, Tashiding, Rumtek) provide a cultural touch to this journey, making it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
